There have been discussions on this over on golfmk7.com (predominantly USA members) in the last 2-3 days. Many of the members on that forum have always bemoaned the poor colour choice on the Golf. I wonder how many will be prepared to stump up the $2,500 for an exclusive colour though, which is unlikely to make little, if any, difference to the part ex value / resale cost when the time comes to sell the car. If someone has chosen a ‘marmite’ colour, it might make it harder to sell.

The range of colours in the Uk is pretty crap really!

Germany gets so many but yeah, they are 2500 euros.

That said, paints are far more expensive on premium cars - I know a guy just done £6k on Range Rover special colour and friend has Aventador SV in a £11k paint option

If I were buying an R, i'd just get Lapiz Blue. That colour looks great on the R, no need for a hugely expensive paint option on that car for me.

It's the rest of the range that has a rather flat and boring colour palette.

Actually, yes I would pay for one of those colours - which one I don't know, but definitely would.

Mind you, US$2500 is probably £2500.... I don't think I'd pay that much, but make it say the price of the pearlescent colours and I would.

I'd agree, Lapiz Blue

Spotted this one last week, perfect combo of silver Prets and Lapiz. Gloss black grills looked great as well.
