Thanks Watts and Rebecca for the comments.

In my opinion, diamond cut alloys have great showroom appeal, but can be a bit fragile, and more expensive to refurb than powder coated wheels. In spite of me looking after mine really carefully on my mk6 GTD; regular washing, sealing and waxing, and touching in any stonechip damage with clear lacquer, two of my diamond cut alloys still succumbed to whiteworm corrosion.

Ditching the diamond cut alloys also gave me an excuse for ditching the Bridgestones too!

Aw, come on, you know you are missing the Bridgestones already.

I had a bit of a session on my wife's car yesterday. It had picked up a lot of tar. Its not a VW but it is German

So I washed, Tardis, Ironx, clayed, resealed, sealant and also topped off with some reload (a bit excessive, but wanted to try it) it looks and feels so much nicer - a couple of shots.........

Oops, sorry Eccie.  Still, another excuse to repost the stunning reflection shot.

LOL, I just can't stand the word Madame.  Besides technically I am a Mademoiselle as not actually married although as good as in practice if not in law!
