Look at his eBay feedback and other items he's selling then ask for a phone number or as it's 4 hours away your probably not going to buy it anyway

I have and nothing back apart from an odd worded reply via eBay asking me to email him instead, which i did.

I've done a 6 hour round trip to Carlisle to buy an Evo 7 before now so don't assume i won't do the journey ;)

For sure. Works both ways.

If it wasn't 4 hours away i would do.

That's what we always used to do. A road trip was all part of the enthusiasm for the cars.

It's a bit like car shows. Many people don't bother going anymore. There is no anticipation of big reveals, as everyone has already seen the build thread on instaface.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

How times have changed mate.

These days you can find the history of the car relatively easily.

No idea. As he hasn't even replied and the car is too cheap, time imo would be wasted.

I wouldn't say it's too cheap if he takes it to a dealer to px it he will be lucky to get 5k

Well that's to much this one is a mk7 and was bought for 10k so can't see a mk6 getting 7.5k
