Passenger airbag needs reactivating..

Any ideas on how to reactivate on VAGCOM. I'm scared of 'trying' things lol

how was it disabled to begin with?
did it deploy?

go in to the airbag module and flick through the adaptation channels until you find the disabled ones. Usually passenger airbag, passenger side airbag and passenger head airbag. The channels say something like "passenger airbag deactivation" if its deactivated, there will be a 1 for the value in the lower left box, change it to 0 to re-enable it.

Don't know, it was deactivated by a previous owner.

go in to the airbag module and flick through the adaptation channels until you find the disabled ones. Usually passenger airbag, passenger side airbag and passenger head airbag. The channels say something like "passenger airbag deactivation" if its deactivated, there will be a 1 for the value in the lower left box, change it to 0 to re-enable it.

Brilliant thanks! What are the chances of it going off if I reactivate lol...ther is now NO airbag light after the initial flashing at ignition switch on to signify passenger airbag deactivated
