Sonus Polishes - Are they any good?
« on: 02 August 2008, 22:25 »
Been considering investing in a PC, seen the kit on autopia that including the sonus polishes and pads, I have read good things on the pads but not sure on the polishes, are these worth the money?

Also there is a guy selling the PC inc transformer and adapter cable for £180 delivered, it this a reasonable deal?

Finally, other than a set of the 4" Sonus spot pads is there anything else you guys would recommend as part of a starter kit?

i would say that looking to purchase from the US or getting something that has a transformer etc is going to be a bit of a pain in the arse...

why not think about getting a meguiars 220  - good value for money and if you are just starting off then it is a good machine to learn with

Thanks Shaun, I think I remember a post about that before this forum broke a couple of weeks ago, the figures have got a bit better since then but it still plays a bit on my mind. But on the other hand if I import a PC and that fails then its going to be much harder to return this for repair.

Decisions Decisions.  :undecided:

I think thats the kit for me then (plus the masking tape and some more pads).

Next I could do with some suggestions for a good sealant?

Also are different wax's better with different colour cars, if so do you have any recommendations for Steel Grey?
