Anyone recommend a decent wax for my car to give it the total shine or at least to protect all the work that I am currently doing on it! Have used G3 to strip it back...now need to wax it...Was using turtle wax which works but only 50% job....Maguiar's tech wax 2.0???

I'm a fan of the Meguiar's Tech Paste Wax 2.0 that you mentioned, but to be honest you can't go wrong with any Meg's, Dodo Juice, Poorboy's, Collinite etc etc, the list is endless of good quality waxes. It's just whatever takes your fancy.

Dont go for megs, durability is rubbish!
Wax is budget dependent
£10-20 =
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/clearkote-carnauba-moose-wax/prod_129.html
£20-30 =
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/collinite-915-marque-d-39-elegance/prod_281.html
£30- 40 = Dodo Juice (colour dependent i.e. purple haze for dark coloured cars)
£40- 50 =

£50- 60 = Couldnt find anything in this price bracket oddly?
£60- 70 =

£70-80 =

Im presuming you wont be spending more if you currently use turtle wax

as mentioned above: dodo juice purple haze or rainforest rub is good and smells well nice, nattys blue again is a good wax, all of which are very good for getting a wet look shine but durability is questionable, collinite wax's are great for protection but fail to impress in the wet look shine department.
depending on your budget i would also suggest looking at sealants aswell, they are good for protection aswell.

Never used wax before until yesterday. I used this:
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/collinite-no-476s-super-doublecoat-auto-wax/prod_207.html
Obviously can't comment on durability but it didn't half bring out the shine on my tornado red mk2
