Vibe CBR12 1600w
« on: 04 October 2010, 19:58 »
Just purchased this from halfrauds

was £200 in store, so i went on my phone and reserved it online, went back 1 hour later and got it for £150 (online price)  :nerd:

Its an active sub (built in amp) so its a case of plug and play

I just need to find someone to fit it for me now

Since fitting my JBL's in the front doors ive got a bit too much treble/mid now so i think this sub should be the icing on the cake

Fitting is easy - run the power from the battery, run the earth to a nut/bolt in the boot, then run the RCA leads and remote down the other side of the car.

Pop the headunit out, plug the RCA's into the headunit and wire the remote lead to the blue & white wire.

then its just a case of running the sub in for a little while, then start tuning it to get the bass you want out of it!

Thanks!

My only worry is how to hide all the cables down the sides of the car

And how to get the cables into the engine bay

As above really. Very easy to DIY... wouldn't pay any one to be honest, spend a boring sunday fitting it.

BTW, its not a volume control, its gain - its unlikely you should run it at full anyway.
