Evening all,

Been a while since i posted on this subject. Anywho the project is underway but very slowly plodding along buying bits and pieces here and there.

In amongst all this i havent actualy thought of wiring the mains up to the car. So if anyone kindly could give me some sort of pointer as in how or what would be the best option in wiring it up so when the key is turned it turns on the pc.

I have read i am NOT suposed to wire it up to the cigarette lighter apparently its a big no no. So what is my best option here? Sugestions/Diagrams/Options/Pictures if anyone would be ever so kind

Thanks all

1st of all you need to work out what fuse rating you'll need on the power feed and go from there... i would use amplifier cables for the power feed

That would be spot on if there were already some terminals that i could already use. Iv had a poke around on the net not many really anyone giving away how they have wired the ignition live etc. Most people have wired the permenent live straight from the battery so my guess is that what i would do. BUT if i could just do it all from inside the footwell that would be a whole lot easier. Thanks for your help so far guys.
