I managed to wash my nwifes gtd today then polished both sides , the boot and back bumper exhaust and back box with autoglym srp then used poorboys exp sealent and it is looking good . I had previously polished it with srp but it rained and I didn't get it finished .
Hopefully shortly I will get it dry long enough  to top with Jetseal /or Blacklight

Managed to give it a detail at last. After 6 weeks and no wash since collection it was looking needy. Just with the time of year and weather never had chance til now. Feel better for it, managed to

Bilberry Wheel clean the wheels then Fall out remove
2 Bucket wash
Decontaminate the car
Wash again
Poorboys sealant for wheels and body
Inside hoover and upholstery clean and auto finesse interior detail.

Still need another sealant coat then its wax time and the seats need protecting. I will get there

I know it's not even a VeeDub but here is some of my handy work:-

Usual wash and dry

Chemical Guys V07 sealant

Swissvax Onyx

Gtechniq C5 and OCD Finish Hydro Shield on glass

Tyres dressed with Quarts

Just in case anyone is wondering, the cloths on the back bumper are there incase the rear number plates falls off, lol! I was worried that the bonding tape didn't feel that sticky!,,

Wow!  That's some impressive shine. One of the best I've seen.

What a superb job.  What sealant and wax are you using?

I'm sorry Neil but we simply can't have BMW's looking that beautiful in here.  You must leave immediately, haha.

That is one gorgeous colour and I have to say I much prefer this M4 to the outgoing i8.

Very, very impressive gloss, is that more from the CG sealant or the SV Onyx, or both?  I'm soon to get a couple of panel pots of Swissvax wax (Onyx and Best of Show).

Not sure to be honest.

The vo7 sealant is great because it has gloss enhancers in it, so a hybrid sealant. Really easy to use and they suggest that it can be used as a top up inbetween regular waxing sessions.

Hopefully the bimmer won't offend too many, and to reset the equlaibrium I'll post some of the bug once that's been done. Mid Jan can't come quick enough to see what we can do on a Clubsport!

Have the links posted OK as I'm just getting text which is weird?

Hi Booth

So far just a single coat of Poorboys EX-P sealant, haven't had chance to get a coat of wax on it as yet. Think the low sun helps the pics

Don't be so modest, lol - it looks tremendous even without the wax!  I've long used Poorboys Ex-P under DoDo Juice wax and it's easy to forget how good it actually is on it's own.  I always like to top it off with wax to give a depth to the paint but the shine Ex-P gives is excellent as shown to great effect on your car.  Very nice.

In Ireland for Christmas break, but ferry was cancelled today, so thought I'd make use of the time and wash the car!

Very nice!

I wish I would be brave enough to own another black car!
